I started reading Dawkins and Pinker during the latter part of my undergrad degree, and found the ideas very different from what I was being taught, and hugely exciting. I decided to try to find a way to study evolutionary psychology. Not finding a way to do this in my native land, Australia, I did my last undergrad year on exchange in Canada, and am now completing my Masters in the US. Ironically my advisor from the US has moved to Australia, so I'm going back in 6 months to complete my PhD there. *phew*
